Judy gave a fun presentation on the many ways to preserve your fall herb harvest. The presentation included all the basics on drying and storing your herbs, freezing herbs and creating herb butters to use now or freeze for later. She shared techniques and ideas for herb vinegar and how to prepare a beautiful flavorful vinegar to give as a gift. We even learned how to make fruit vinegar. She taught us how to make a small herb wreath. Once the herbs dry the wreath can be stored and then when you are ready the whole wreath can be added to soup or other dish.
