Our unit had a delightful class at the Bloomfield Township Library last Thursday, Not Your Mother’s Pesto. Judy led an informative class on making pestos and the various ingredients, and how to create your own. She had a kale pesto for sampling. Judy also taught us how to plant and grow garlic for better pestos. Annie demonstrated making a sun dried tomato pesto in the food processor. Tastings followed on French baguette.  Carol brought cheese tortellini dipped in lemon verbena pesto. Wendy brought a delightful herbal spa water  to go with the tastings.
