Pumpkin Burgers – Annie

1 1/2 pounds ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion chopped
1 12 ounce jar chile sauce
1/2 cup pumpkin purée
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 can tomato soup (I use Amy’s)
Optional:  chile spices to taste

Brown the onions, then add the meat and brown.  Drain off fat.  Add spices and sauté a minute .  Add chili sauce, soup concentrate, and simmer one hour stirring occasionally.  Cook down to a Sloppy Joe consistency.  Serve on buns or slider buns.
